We now have snowdrops for sale.
This is the first proper thing we've had ready to sell at the farm (other than eggs) and we are very excited about it.
Grandpa planted almost 300 snowdrop bulbs in little 4" pots last fall. Now they are up and blooming.
Snowdrops are one of my most favourite flowers. They are the harbingers of spring. They have such dainty white little blossoms and, around these parts are in bloom before the tulips even think of poking though the soil.
$2.50 each pot.
I don't think I had seen snowdrops before. They are beautiful! I love the contrast between their wide leaves and thin stems, and between the deep green of the leaves and the pure white of the flowers. Lovely!
